The Classical Greek course prepares for the state supplementary examination in Greek („Graecum„). You will learn the classic Attic dialect; Hellenistic and Imperial texts written in Koine Greek are also read. The focus is on excerpts from Plato’s works.
Please note the following information from LaSuB regarding registration for supplementary examinations in Ancient Greek / Latin:
Since August 1, 2023, the application for admission to the supplementary examination must be submitted to the school supervisory authority no later than 12 weeks before the start of the examination and an application for compensation for disadvantages in the supplementary examination must be submitted at the same time as the application for admission to the supplementary examination (number 2 letters b and c Annex 4 to Section 66 SOGYA).
