As part of the language training programme at TU Dresden, TUDIAS offers students from all disciplines course-related training in 17 languages – both in general language and subject-specific course formats.
On the following pages, you will find all the important information about the respective courses: admission requirements, content, learning objectives and examinations. This information is intended to help you choose the right course for your studies.
Please check your study documents or contact your student advisory service directly to find out whether compulsory or elective language training is required for your degree programme. Of course, voluntary participation in our courses is also possible at any time.
Enrolment is only possible online via OPAL.

German courses
Proof of language proficiency is required to enroll in German courses (a certificate from a previous semester or the results of the placement test). Please upload this proof to OPAL after enrolling. You may only enroll in courses at the language level for which you have provided proof.
