| Contents: | An overview of politics, the economy, everyday life, cultural habits, history, the educational system and everyday university life is given. Active participation of the students in the lectures is expected. |

| Qualification goals: | The students have advanced basic communication skills in Portuguese at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference. The aim of the course is to prepare for your stay in Brazil or Portugal. Students can understand the main points of audio texts on topics related to everyday life and the academic environment when spoken in clearly articulated standard language or a familiar variety, understand broadly factual texts on topics related to their own interests and areas of expertise, express themselves in detail and coherently, express themselves orally and in writing on topics of their own interest. |
