Target group: | Students of the medical faculty of the TU Dresden. |
Contents: | - Discover communication methods (such as introducing, informing …) and acquiring the necessary skills in a professional context (written: official letter, CV, fax, e-mail; oral: talking to patients, conducting telephone calls, inquiring e.g. with patients, doctors; looking for an internship; describing, explaining, prescribing). - Learning the characteristics of the technical language. - Reading of authentic documents, among others on the following topics: physique, organs, muscles and bones, diseases, anamnesis, medical subdisciplines. - Among the university work techniques, note taking and presentation are given special consideration. |

Qualification goals: | The students have the ability to study independently and previous work-related written and oral communication in French at level B2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The aim of this course is first to give medical students an insight into the French world of medicine and thus optimally prepare them for clinical work in francophone countries (institutional, economic and sociological aspects). |
Usability: | General language requirement level B2+ taking into account the respective study regulations / prerequisite for level C1+. |
