|Target group:||This course is primarily aimed at students of international relations and law at the TU Dresden. It is also open to all interested students from other disciplines.|
|Contents:||- Development of oral and written skills is taken into account through a variety of written and audio documents and corresponding tasks (e.g. short presentation, discussion, written treatise).|
- Additional media for independent work on and with texts and audio texts.

|Qualification goals:||The students have the ability to study independently and produce work-related written and oral communication in French at level B2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The course uses primarily legal text types (laws, judgments) to familiarize students with the French state and legal system. It considers the legal basis and the functioning of the European Union, as well as selected questions of international law. In this way, basic concepts of French legal language are also conveyed.|
