Target group: | This course is primarily aimed at students of international relations and law at the TU Dresden. It is also open to all interested students from other disciplines. |
Contents: | - Development of oral and written skills is taken into account through a variety of written and audio documents and corresponding tasks (e.g. short presentation, discussion, written treatise). - Additional media for independent work on and with texts and audio texts. |
Prerequisite: | B2 or proof of knowledge through a placement test. |

Qualification goals: | The students have the ability to study independently and produce work-related written and oral communication in French at level B2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The course uses primarily legal text types (laws, judgments) to familiarize students with the French state and legal system. It considers the legal basis and the functioning of the European Union, as well as selected questions of international law. In this way, basic concepts of French legal language are also conveyed. |
Usability: | General language requirement level B2+ taking into account the respective study regulations / prerequisite for level C1. |
Teaching material: | "Introduction au francais juridique: you droit interne français au droit européen et international". Internal material announced by the teacher. |
