Workload: | The total workload is 75 hours. Of these, 30 hours are accounted for by attendance and 45 hours by self-study, including exam preparation and completion of the exam. |
Examination: | - Simulation / Role Play The credit points are earned when the examination is passed. |
Credit points and grades: | A graded TU Dresden certificate of attendance will be issued upon successful participation, i.e., required attendance and timely assignment submission. |
Qualification goals: | This course on Oral Communication in the Modern World gives introductory inputs on and practice on key socializing, culture, presentations and running meetings and engaging in basic negotiations. A more advanced C1+ module called International Negotiations is also available |
Usability: | General language requirement level C1 taking into account the respective study regulations / prerequisite for level C1/C1+ |

Comments/Miscellaneous: | This course is mandatory for the Diploma Advanced Professional or Advanced Business English. For students with very good language skills (EBW-F courses etc.) we recommend attending the course ’International Negotiations’ P24 (CEFR C1 / C2) instead of the P1 course. |
