Target group: | The course is aimed primarily at students in the Chemnitz Medicine model course (MEDiC). |
Contents: | • Medical terminology of selected medical specialties • Reading and listening strategies in an academic context • Reading and listening to medical texts within the scope of the course topic • Media use for autonomous language acquisition |

Qualification goals: | Learning objectives are the development of competency-oriented knowledge, skills and abilities in the English medical language at CEFR C1. The course prepares participants for English-language study, academic and professional activities. Participants can transfer and apply the acquired skills to real oral/written academic and professional situations. |
Usability: | General language requirement level C1 taking into account the respective study regulations / prerequisite for level C1/C1+ |
