Contents: | This class provides a basis for professional writing, beginning with an overview of rhetoric, organization and writing techniques. Topics include writing correspondence, including formal letter writing for diverse circumstances, and compilation of reports, describing trends (graphs and tables), writing proposals, writing reviews and commentaries, as well as summaries. Analysis of case studies and writing reports of same. |
Prerequisite: | TU Certificate EBW (1-3) / CEFR B2+ with at least 2.5, or TU Certificate EBW - F (1-3) / C1, or placement test |
