Contents: | This language course at an advanced level enables students to deepen and improve their oral and written language skills. They deal with topics related to contemporary Italy, in particular its cultural and natural heritage. The main themes are: living in a city in Italy (infrastructure, services and quality of life), cultural and natural assets of Italy, environment, individual responsibility and commitment and the impact of tourism. |
Prerequisite: | B1+ or proof of knowledge through a placement test. |

Workload: | The total workload is 75 hours. Of these, 30 hours are accounted for by attendance and 45 hours by self-study, including preparation for the exam and completion of the exam. |
Examinations: | - Written Exam (90 minutes) The credit points are earned when the examination is passed. |
Credit points and grades: | Graded participation certificate. |
Qualification goals: | The aim of this course is to impart linguistic and cultural skills. In addition to cultural content, the focus is also on communicative activities to promote understanding and language production. A detailed treatment of advanced grammar topics and a solid command of the most important verb forms (as well as the subjunctive and conditional modes) are also part of the course. The course is suitable for students who are planning a study visit to Italy and want to improve their language skills, as well as for students who are interested in deepening the knowledge of the country and expanding their language skills. |
Usability: | General language requirement level B2 taking into account the respective study regulations / prerequisite for level B2+. |
